Mechabellum Counter List: Matchups & Response Pages
Browse counter pages by enemy unit, with matchup options sourced as community reports and a reminder to account for tech and support. This page separates current official facts from community examples and unknown version-sensitive details.
There is no reliable one-line counter chart for every Mechabellum matchup: technology, unit levels, formation, and support change the result. Use the linked pages to identify candidate answers, then confirm the target’s live tech and the reason your response should work.

Recommended approach
For each threat, do three checks: identify the damage or targeting problem, choose a unit that can actually reach or survive that threat, and retain enough support to stop the opponent’s second unit from invalidating the counter. Change one part at a time so the battle result teaches you something.
A counter is useful when it changes the enemy’s ability to deal damage or advance—not merely when its name appears on a static list. Review the battle, check which unit caused the loss, and respond to that cause next round.
What changes the answer
Open the unit-specific pages for Phantom Ray, Void Eye, Mustang, Steel Ball, Raiden, Hacker, Wasp, Marksman, Phoenix, Vortex, Overlord, or Sabertooth. Where only older community reports exist, the page labels them rather than presenting a 2.0 hard-counter verdict.
Version and evidence boundary
The counter table source is a community-maintained high-MMR guide and the linked Reddit threads are player reports; neither is an official post-2.0 balance dataset. Exact current matchups remain conditional on in-game tech and the current patch.
